2019 GENERAL ELECTION: WIKE SOLIDARITY MOVEMENT (WSM) CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR WIKE AS HE FLOORS THE GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATES OF THE ADP VICTOR FINGESI AND AAC AWARA BIOKPOMABO AT THE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION PETITIONS TRIBUNAL.
The leadership of the foremost Governor Wike Support Group, Wike Solidarity Movement (WSM) has congratulated the Executive Governor of Rivers State Chief (Barr) Ezenwo Nyesom Wike CON, GSSRS, POS (Africa) on yet another deserving and resounding victory at the tribunal today.
The Governornship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Port Harcourt today struck out the petition of the Action Democratic Party (ADC) candidate, Victor Fingesi and his AAC counterpart, Awara Biokpomabo over the victory of His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Wike during the March 9′ Governorship election in Rivers state.
Addressing the mammoth crowd celebrating and jubilating at the Wike Solidarity Movement (WSM) National Secretariat No: 3 Omerelu Street, GRA Phase 1(Opposite Hotel Presidential) Port Harcourt, the Board Of Trustees Chairman Hon. (Sir) Gabriel Pidomson Ph.D expressed joy over the ruling of the learned legal icons.
Hon. Pidomson, a former lawmaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly and one time Secretary to Rivers State Government said ” I have always been optimistic that Governor Wike will win because he has the mandate of Rivers people to govern them one more time and that was why we all came out en masse devoid of military presence and intimidations meted on us, we came out, spoke in one voice, and were prepared to die for Wike, i am even aware a large number of our members were beaten and detained by the military but at last we overwhelming won the general elections and here we are today celebrating yet another ‘Sweet Victory’ ”
Hon. Pidomson advised supporters of Governor Wike to remain steadfast in his leadership as he is aware that he ( Gov. Wike) rewards loyalty as he has started it already.
The Director General Of Wike Solidarity Movement (WSM) Prince Sudor Nwiyor also eulogised His Excellency for his doggedness and leadership lifestyle describing him as a “Honcho”.
He finally applauded the judiciary for always proving to be the last hope of the common man despite series of temptations and intimidations by powers against the interest of Rivers People.
