The president of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Amb Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, has urged youth of the Nation to be law abiding as the Muslim Community Celebrate its Eld-Maulud Festival.
Sukubo urged Muslim Youth and in extension, the youth of the Nation to shun acts that undermine the security of the Nation, adding that it was wrong for youth who should be the future hope of the nation to be the same set of person destroying the Nation.
The president of the NYCN in the statement expressed worries that most of the security threat confronting the nation were perpetrated by Youth, advisory them to only involve in activities that would bring peace and development to the nation.
Amb Sukubo however encouraged Nigerian Youth to involve deeply in politics, warning them against being used as thugs during and after elections to cause crisis.
He also encouraged them to seek elective position and also support candidates of there choice to bring the change and development the nation is clamouring for.
He used the opportunity to enjoined the government to engage youth in meaningful activities, adding that youth are the future leaders of the nationa and must be taken care of. The Nigeria youth leader congratulated the Muslims on the celebration and wished a peaceful and remarkable day.
