Mansur Ahmed: Prisoner of ‘Election war’ – Ismail Omipidan

Mansur Ahmed: Prisoner of ‘Election war’ By Ismail Omipidan

Mansur Ahmed is the young and energetic media aide on Social media to Ex-Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido.

He was arrested on February 23, on the day of the presidential and National Assembly elections, allegedly on the orders of Governor Abubakar Badaru for alleged electoral offence.

Assuming, but without conceding that he indeed committed the alleged offence, is the Jigawa State government now a department of INEC?

It is about 30 days now since he was put behind bars, yet no formal charge has been preferred against him. Na like this e go deh go? Akwana a tashi, four years will soon be over o.

To INEC and Governor Badaru, try Mansur Ahmed now or set him free to reunite with his wife and little kids.
